Advanced Option Trading Strategies extends the scope of option trading strategies.  Puts and calls are the basis of all option trades.  Most expert option traders become “sellers” of options.  These options take the form of credit spreads.  Money actually comes into your account as a net credit.

Added to the credit spread session is an extensive look at Exchange Traded Funds or ETF’s. In a recent article in a national newspaper, it was said that "…the hottest stock in the market is not a stock. It is an Exchange Traded Fund." This class addresses buying and selling options on ETF’s. Added to this is instruction on how to trade stocks the mind-boggling ETFs that move, on a daily basis, 2x and 3x the percentage of their underlying Index Funds.

As is the case with every Pristine Method Options class, the electronic manual is divided into sections with student-instructor question and answer exercises at the end of each section. This insures a high degree of student understanding for the material being presented.

Enhancing this class is the fact that all options trading strategies are accompanied with broker order tickets from the nationally acclaimed MasterTrader trading platform. After learning each strategy, the student fills out a paper order ticket on that strategy. This provides an excellent reference for later review as well as in-class practice.

Advanced Option Strategies focuses on:

  • Credit Spreads
  • Bull put spreads
  • Bear call spreads

Intensive instruction on the application of volatility to all trades

  • Implied Volatility
  • Historical Volatility

Exchange Traded Funds

  • Index funds
  • 2x and 3x ETF’s with double and triple % moves as compared to their root indexes

In the stock market, a stock can move in one of 3 directions.  Buying a stock takes advantage of one of these directions, as does selling a stock short.  Learn options trading strategies that take advantage of two out of three of these directions.  Learn credit spreads.
