Greg Capra is President and CEO of Pristine Capital Holdings, Inc., the nation's leading online educational service for active, self-directed traders. He has been a day
and swing trader for more than 15 years. Back in the early 1990s he found a way
to collect the intra-day stock quotes coming into his computer and store them
into a program meant for commodities. For those interested, this program was
called SuperTic, which was then upgraded to what was Metastock’s intra-day
software at the time.
This was years before intra-day stock charts were available to traders and
even retail brokers. It was the days when institutions had all the advantages
and the playing field was far from the level one of today. But times were about
to change. Of course, the level of intra-day data available today has come
light years from that time. This was a time when a heavy rain storm could block
the data feed from Data Broadcasting, now known as eSignal to his satellite.
While the trading tools were crude in those early years, it was the start
of a time that was to become a new profession. What Mr. Capra taught himself
in those early years lead to the decision to form what was to become the nation’s leading educational firm for self-directed
traders. In time, execution systems that opened and closed orders at light
speed became available. This allowed anyone with the desire to become a professional
trader to compete on a level field with any institutional trader or hedge fund.
After several years of teaching the foundation material that traders still
learn today in Trading The Pristine Method® Part I (TPM1) Mr. Capra took
the Pristine Method® to a higher level and created Trading The Pristine
Method® Part II (TPM2). TPM2 elevates students to a more comprehensive
and deeper understanding of how to use the tools and tactics learned in TPM1.
He is co-editor of Pristine’s flagship product, "The Pristine Swing Trader.", editor of Pristine's Chart of the Week used by thousands of
self-directed traders, author of his DVD seminar series, developed the Pristine Advanced Trading Lab and co-authored, "Tools and Tactics for the Master Day Trader."
Mr. Capra personally trains students that want to specialize in the trading
of equity e-minis in Pristine's E-Mini Trading Lab. The E-Mini Trading Lab
is given in a live market environment and is designed to impart expertise and
self-reliance to those wanting to become active equity futures traders. This
course is the pinnacle of Pristine's education program. Those that have
attended this course can confidently say that they have graduated and after
any graduation, it is all up to the individual to succeed or fail. On a daily
basis he moderates Pristine's E-Mini Trading Room (ETR).
Before founding Pristine in 1994, Mr. Capra ran a successful business for
15 years. Wanting to invest that money wisely, Mr. Capra became a voracious
student of the market and became especially interested in the quantitative
analysis of market movements.
Carol Irwin, the Director of Finance for Pristine
Capital Holdings, Inc., oversees the administrative and financial operations
of the Pristine organization. Her responsibilities include cash flow
management, implementation of corporate systems and procedures and
human resources. Mrs. Irwin interfaces with our legal and accounting
professionals on an ongoing basis and works closely with the Chief
Operating Officer of Pristine in developing the corporate structure.
She maintains all corporate documentation and financial reports. In
addition, as a member of the Management Team, Mrs. Irwin is responsible
for facilitating communications between all members of the team as
well as coordinating the corporate calendar.
Mrs. Irwin joined Pristine in January, 1997 as
a Customer Service Coordinator. She came to us with a background in
retail accounting which included over five years with Lord & Taylor
as a Senior Accountant and Internal Auditor.
Jaime Annexy, President and Managing Director of Pristine Securities LLC. d/b/a/ Mastertrader.com, has twenty-seven years of experience in the securities industry. Mr. Annexy has a B.S.E. from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA from the Harvard University Graduate School of Business. He is a consummate industry professional. Mr. Annexy is responsible for the management and strategic expansion of Pristine Capital Holdings Inc. financial services and products, and the operations of its broker/dealer, Mastertrader.com. He trained with Merrill Lynch and subsequently was a Senior Vice President of Dean Witter (now Morgan Stanley) in charge of its retail operations in Puerto Rico. Prior to joining Pristine, he was President and COO of Investors Street, a direct access broker/dealer headquartered in Miami, Florida.
Ron Wagner is President of Pristine Education. Mr. Wagner has owned, operated and served as C.E.O of several multi million dollar companies. He has also served as President of the Chamber of Commerce and consulted for a variety of top Fortune 500 companies. In the late 1990’s after trying various other trading programs and losing a fair amount of money, Ron became aware of Pristine. After learning the Pristine Method over 10 years ago, Ron has become a proficient Swing and Intraday trader. Ron has perfected his intraday trading style and now mostly trades the first 90 minutes of the day with an extremely high degree of accuracy. Ron has done well over 25,000 trades and is considered one of the most conservative Pristine traders.
Mr. Wagner began as Vice President of Pristine Education in 2000 and has been instrumental in creating the Pristine University Programs. Mr. Wagner also had the privilege of assisting Mr. Capra in developing the very first Pristine advanced course over 7 years ago. Mr. Wagner’s passion is in helping traders and investors learn the Pristine Method and to apply the concepts in the most simplified way possible. Ron has taught thousands of traders and enjoys teaching the most of anything he does. Mr. Wagner married the girl next door and has been married for 32 years with two great sons and a grandson he adores.
Joe Ely is the Branch Manager and General Securities Principal responsible for the day-to-day
operations of Pristine Capital Holdings' broker/dealer, Mastertrader.com.
Mr. Ely is a graduate of The College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York,
where he earned his B.S in Business Administration with a concentration
in Financial Management. He started his career in the financial services
industry working as a trader's assistant for a SOES trading firm. Subsequently
Mr. Ely worked for Oppenheimer Capital, a firm focused on managing equity
investment portfolios for institutional clients. After a term at the
Executioner, a branch office of Terra Nova Trading. Mr. Ely joined as
an original member of Mastertrader.com's management team, whose priority
is to provide quality products and service excellence to the active trader.
Simon Brad is the Director of Educational Services of Pristine International. After obtaining a degree in Business Administration in 1990, Mr. Brad traded for several investment banks and financial institutions over a period of eight years. His experience in the markets began with the trading of Latin American ADRs. Later, Mr. Brad dedicated himself to trading the NASDAQ and NYSE markets. Under the tutelage of Mr. Capra, he was able to develop and adapt the world-renowned Pristine Method® for the worldwide Spanish-speaking community of traders.
Currently, Mr. Brad coordinates all educational and training activities. He is also the moderator for the Trading Room in Spanish, where he shares his knowledge and experience with a growing number of traders that have graduated from the variety of Pristine educational seminars held in Latin America and Spain. Mr. Brad is the Editor of "Codicia y Temor" ("Greed and Fear"), a weekly column where he analyzes many themes of interest for the active trader. Mr. Brad is also a member of the esteemed Pristine Research Team.
