1-Day Seminar Description

Managing Your Trading Business

Prerequisite: Trading the Pristine Method® - Part I.

Trading The Pristine Method® – Part I and Part II provide the finest instruction available in the tactics and techniques of trading through technical analysis. Pristine's Trading Labs also offer intensive guidance and live market exercises in the mechanics of putting those approaches into action. But there is a big difference between learning how to trade and learning how to survive as a professional trader. The new trader often feels left to their own devices when trying to convert their newly acquired strategic knowledge into a well-planned and consistent approach to trading the market as a business. Yet it is those business management skills that often separate the 10-15% of traders who succeed at their profession from the 85-90% of those that eventually fail. This seminar is designed to provide you with those skills to help you manage your own trading business. While concepts such as Trading Plans and analysis methods are addressed in many of Pristine's teachings, this is the first seminar that has been designed to bring you through those subjects in complete detail.

Seminar Description

The Trading Plan defines your approach to the market and maps out your business plan. It documents the types of trades you pursue, the approach you take to finding trading opportunities, and the manner in which you manage trades. It defines your money management techniques and your trading revenue projections. It also details the activities of your trading day, from your pre-market routine to your scanning process at the end of the day. Attempting to run a trading business without a comprehensive Trading Plan is analogous to managing a bank, a store, or any other business without a business plan, and is just as likely to lead to failure. This seminar will walk you through each component of a comprehensive Trading Plan in complete detail. You will learn to define lot sizing, money management controls and market analysis that match your goal projections. Detailed examples of trade management guidelines will be reviewed.
