2-Day Seminar Description

"TRADING THE PRISTINE METHOD® - PART II"

Prerequisite: Trading the Pristine Method® - Part I.

Seminar Description

Graduates of TPM - Part I should be equipped with the necessary tools and strategies to trade on an intermediate to long-term basis with discipline and proper risk management. But it is impossible to relay in Part I the breadth of information and intricacies of advanced chart reading. TPM - Part II takes the information in Part I to a higher level of mastery, by equipping traders with the tools to actually place the trade in a live environment. Other advanced concepts are also discussed in an interactive classroom environment. Pristine promises that TPM - Part II will change the way you view the markets and the way you trade for the rest of your life. Foremost, you will learn that a simple but powerful analysis of supply and demand is the key to "objective" trading. This will be done without the currently accepted subjective analysis tools used by so many traders today. These widely accepted tools are subjective, and often lead to incorrect decisions and avoidable uncertainty. The seminar will teach you to know exactly why you are risking your hard earned capital to speculate on a trade, and what your target and protective stop are. Then we will teach you to use detailed trend/pivot analysis, bar-by-bar analysis, and market internals to know whether to exit the trade, add on pullbacks, or even widen the initial target. Risk management and discipline are stressed greatly, including when to know when to sit on the sidelines to preserve capital. Once you enter a trade, you have no idea what will happen next. But we teach you how to objectively interpret the information as it unravels to reduce uncertainty. Although it would be wholly untrue (and illegal) for us to suggest that you will not lose money, Pristine is comfortable with saying that if you follow what we teach, it will be hard for you to lose big. Although the course will focus on many intra-day charts, the methodology works identically on any time frame. Graduates of the Pristine Method® Series, with follow-up mentoring through our Trading Labs, will help in keeping you out of the statistic that over 90% of traders fail.

This 2-day interactive seminar workshop was developed under the strict guidance of Greg Capra, co-founder of Pristine.com and co-author of the best selling book "Tools & Tactics for the Master Day Trader." After years of research and work with thousands of in-house students that were part of Pristine's mentorship programs, the end result is "Trading the Pristine Method® - Part II." The art of having to put the battle-tested concepts on paper makes the material even more extraordinary.

Each of the techniques taught in this course have been used literally thousands of times successfully and now put into this Pristine seminar. Our goal is to give you the tools to read what is happening in the moment, and then to put that information in the context of the overall trend. The moment can be a weekly chart for the core trader, a daily chart for a swing trader, or a 5-minute chart to the day trader. But all traders must continually adjust to new information the market may be offering The ability to do this without the use of complex indicators or canned trading systems is key. The market can change quickly. Without an objective way to change with it, and more importantly your ability to accept change, you will not likely last.

This 2-day intensive workshop is designed to catapult the information provided in The Pristine Method® in every possible market environment and time frame, by assimilating the information dynamically. Some of the topics include:

Pristine's trading methodology and philosophy, including why we trade people, not stocks;
Review of the building blocks of The Pristine Method® - Part 1;
Review and simplification of candlestick analysis to make them more powerful than you already may have thought;
Analysis of moving averages as trend tools, plus how to use them to identify divergence, relative strength/weakness, and fading extreme overbought/oversold levels;
Major and minor support and resistance, and their significance on multiple time frames;
Rigorous analysis of major, minor, and cluster pivots in determining whether a trend has stalled or changed (NOTE: Because of the lack of publicly available information on this subject, the Pristine authors spent over 100 hours designing this single chapter alone, which we believe is worth twice the cost of the seminar alone!);
How to interpret Volume as a confirming or reversal indicator before every single trade;
Using trends, moving averages and market indicators to select and manage trades;
Interpret action signals from bar and tail formations;
Looking for new opportunities and managing open positions;
Using Pristine's Reversal periods to capture intra-day swings, and knowing when the odds are stacked in your favor;
Using Market Internals (Futures, TICK, TRIN, VIX, and Put-Call Ratio) and Sentiment to time entries, gauge overbought/oversold levels, and measure crowd extreme fear or greed;
Determining the likelihood of trend continuation or reversal by analyzing retracement into a prior period's candle or trend, including sector relative strength and weakness;
Explain how Pristine analyzes an issue's price movement over time, Bar-By-Bar, as a way of objectively determining who is winning the battle between the bulls and the bears, and whether the predicted stock movement is still in tact or not;
Analyzing Gaps as new opportunities or whether it changed the pattern, and in helping to manage existing positions;
Detailed review of Failed Patterns, as risk management and as way to profit from the "Shock Event" being experienced by trapped bulls or bears;
Increase the odds of trade success by analyzing the stock on multiple time frames (remember, multiple trends are constantly occurring on different time frames by definition);
Position and money management, including share size, scaling techniques, targets, and trailing stops;
Discipline, risk management, and the required psychological mindset to succeed;
Tools for disaster management, including when a trade unexpectedly goes against you;
