Hi Avery
Can't tell you how much I'm learning from the Gap Class and in the Trading Room. Every day I experience more than one "A HA...I GET IT!" What great teachers/mentors you are. Pristine is lucky to have you both.
I really find your weekly ESP "lessons" great. Have a notebook of them and review them whenever I can find the time. Right now our lives are filled with Pristine...Your classes, nine DVDs, the PMTR, daily info from the website, Tools and Tactics book, after market lectures, and Pristine View reads and rereads.
Ever since we took TPM I we have been committed to Pristine. Like many other folks, I wish I had been introduced before I spent all those years learning and struggling with a myriad of indicators that had my charts looking like Boston surface road traffic jams during the Big Dig. What a mess and no clear or consistent pattern!
Thanks for your stock comments today too. I did make a little bit of paper money, but on a "bad" trade. So I added that trade to my diminishing, but still too frequent "bad trades file." I keep the bad trade cards at my desk and review them during the doldrums. What's neat is how much more often now I can ask myself with real disbelief-- "Now why on earth did I do THAT?"
From the trading room I'm also learning the importance of a trading plan focus. I have the share sizing and everything else I learned from TPM I and DVD but I included way too many patterns and set ups.
There's a fairly recent PBS mystery series on Saturday night called New Tricks--about 3 old-school detectives who are back working on cold cases. We think it's quite good and funny too. But most of all it reminds me there's hope for this old new trader!
See you in the room tomorrow and at Gap Class Saturday.

Greg,
I can't thank you enough for the mentorship week. I told my wife after day 1, "I already got my money's worth." I learned many new concepts, plus greatly reinforced what was learned in previous classes. I can't wait to put it all to work, especially the new software tools.
Thanks again,
Jim W.

I have really enjoyed the coaching; in fact it has really been revolutionary. The stock market has so many facets, conditions, people, circumstances, etc. As a trader begins and continues on the journey to make his way thru the maze of learning how to trade, coaching helps eliminate the things that really are not a priority. That is where your experience as a coach proves invaluable. In one comment, you can help a trader narrow his focus and prevent him from having to spend years in the learning curve. You have done these things for me and I appreciate it.
I am looking forward to the class on Sat.
Blessings Mark B.

Excellent closing statements! Your comments continue to be further proof that
the folks at Pristine truly are interested in helping guys like me. Very touching,
indeed. Thanks for your support. It's nice to know that I am more knowledgeable
than the Goldman Sachs market makers, even though it is easy to think the other
way around!
People were stunned when I left Smith Barney earlier this year (to attempt
this new career)....(they were stunned when I left Merrill in 1999 as well
to move to SB). As such, I have been wrestling with my personal psychology
over the last 2 months or so....and it's nice toknow that with help from you,
my courage continues to build. I hope you don't mind my humor comments during
the sessions....gotta have humor.
Thanks,
Ben P.

Avery,
Once in the PMTR you seemed a little surprised when I praised your gap coaching webinars. This morning was a reminder of just how good the training was. Look at CMX for today. I quickly nailed it for about $2/share (with thousands of shares involved), and again within a half an hour or so for about another $0.60/share (again with large share size). I could not have done this without your coaching sessions.
I learned to make money playing gaps in the summer of 2004, before any involvement with Pristine. After this, I could consistently make pretty good money with gap plays. The point be that your coaching took me to a new, much higher level. So when praise was previously given in the PMTR, I knew what I was talking about, having a basis for comparison. The small investment in your gap coaching has already been repayed more times than can be counted.
So once again, a sincere thank you is offered for sharing the valuable information.
Best of luck in your trading, and other future endeavors.
James B.

I just wanted to write a quick note to give Kudos to Avery Meizner. I recently completed a 5-session coaching program (on Gap Trading the open) with him and I must say that it has made a remarkable difference in putting some of the pieces of the "trading puzzle" together for me.
A lot of this (Pristine) material has gone over my head the 1st, 2nd and even 3rd time I've heard it in the PMTR, but the tenacity and patience that Avery has to continue driving home the concepts of trading - and the psychology behind it all - has accelerated my learning tremendously. And his willingness to continue *my* education through e-mail feedback is invaluable.
Well, that's it. Just a quick note to say that I surely learned (and continue to learn) a lot from Avery. Keep him around! :)
Sincerely,
David B.

The seminar gave me more confidence about trading the e-minis. I feel that taking this seminar was a wise investment decision.

I signed up for a 10 week coaching session with and it was remarkable. My positive trades increased to 50% and I made back all of my previous losses. He taught me how to incorporate market internals, assess S/R and Targets more accuarately, consider relative strength/weakness and recognizing quality set ups. I have the utmost respect for your educational resources and felt you should know this. I intend to continue utilizing your educational program as I can't imagine learning to be an effective trader without it.
Kindly, Bill M.

Greg,
Since your internet version of the Private Mentorship for the DOW futures I
have a complete new outlook on all markets. I can not express the value of
the Private Mentorship and the time with you. This Private Mentorship has
brought together all of my prior Pristine training. I feel very comfortable
with my knowledge of the markets. Thanks for changing my life. Let me know if I can ever return the favor.
Best regards, Ken L.

Hi Greg,
I just wanted to thank you again for the online emini mentorship last week. After having taken TPM-2 from you and learning a great deal in that process,
I wanted a chance to be able to observe the market and learn from you in
real-time to really solidify my understanding of the concepts in a way that
is not possible in a seminar. I feel like I now finally have the whole
picture, so to speak. I definitely have a much better idea of high odds
short-term plays, reasonable targets and expectations, and just what I
should be looking for and doing everyday in my microtrading. I feel that
the experience was great and well worth the price and time invested.
Although I know I need more practice and am going to take it slow, I am
really looking forward to the process of microtrading over the coming
months. For the first time, I really believe deep down that if I am patient
and stick to the plan, I will definitely be able to generate enough income
to make a living trading full time. Thank you so much for that.

Dear Greg,
I would like to express my gratitude for your E-Mini Trading Lab. You went
above and beyond an educator and showed us with patience and generosity your
professional trading knowledge. It was very valuable and it really put into
practice a lot of the prior Pristine education. Sharing all of your helpful
personally developed indicators is a tremendous asset to put the odds in
favor of picking up profitable trades. Thank you again and keep up the good
work.
Regards, Kasra P.

I just wanted to thank you again for the excellent mentorship week. The content was great and it was a pleasure to attend such a well organized and presented seminar.
The information made a lot of sense to me during the instruction but the wisdom of the strategies became even more apparent as I practiced them in my own environment this week. Thank you for sharing your excellent work with us. I made 7% (on a $20,000 demo account) in 10 plays during the last 4 days so I am very encouraged.
Take care & thanks again.

I wanted to tell you that I think the few coaching sessions we have had were great. I like your attention to fine detail and helping me understand the routine I must get into before I make a trade. Certainly having taken TPM1/2 enables us to focus on refinement instead of basics. You are helping me be able to assess a trade in multiple time frames and assess risk, which I couldn't do before. In just a few weeks, I have increased my trrades from 30% winners to 60%, although I have far less trades now. I am excited about our continued work together. Thanks, Bill M.
|
|
You are my good luck charm. This week, between being long
on Pcu, and short on BBBY,QQQQ,EBAY,and CC, life is good. I'll be looking
closely at SU, SLB, and MER short depending on market internals and the right
entry points. I owe this all to you. Thanks, Bill M.
|
|
Say, your mentorship with e-minis has given me great insight into the
market in general. I don't trade them exclusively, but I'm much more comfortable trading them as an occasional opportunity. More importantly, I suddenly see more clearly their relative value as a market internal. Yea! My thinking about them used to be somewhat murky - didn't quite know what to do with them. I know, slow learner, but WOW, it seems
my rocketship just finally took off - I'm so excited to get to my trading every morning. Also, I have applied much of what you taught to my micro-trading and it has vastly improved.
Just singing your praises! Gayle P.

It's been nearly 5 months since the mentorship. I want to thank you again for that program... I was still trading my old way for 2 months after but have been wildly successful trading your setups for the past 2 1/2 months.
Thanks,
Jimmy W.

Hi Greg,
I have spent the last few weeks since the E-Minis Trading Lab just focused on what you had taught us and I must say you have pretty much nailed it on the
head. Your knowledge on the subject and your ability to read and interpret
charts goes far beyond what I ever expected to learn from this mentorship.
There are very few good traders out there and even fewer who have the
patience to teach what they know, you truly are a Master Trader.
Thank you so much.
Dave H.
|
|
My trading was off to a rough start for the first few weeks, but I am finally starting to settle down, trust the system and relax. The more trades I make, the more comfortable and confident I become. I still have a long way to go, but I'm learning something new every day. Thanks again for your excellent instruction. It has formed the foundation for what I hope to be a long and prosperous career. You are probably the best instructor I have ever learned from (all subjects).
Best Regards,
Chris H.

I wanted to let you know that the week that I spent with you teaching us your e-mini mentorship was an extremely
rewarding experience. From your attention to all the details in terms of our understanding of all the tactics to your professionalism as an educator, your approach in this mentorship is only defined by the word professional. You were
always very attentive and asking us if we had questions and if we had you answered them all with calm and to the point.
In terms of the material given, the manual that you give is very detailed and
it contains everything that you taught us during the week for later review.
I know that anyone interested in trading the e-minis will find benefit by attending this mentorship without any doubt. Even if you are already a professional trader you would benefit, because the approach and tactics that you teach is a
plan or system that you developed by yourself and specifically for trading the e-minis.
I really learned what professional trading is all about and how a trading business should be run. You really are an expert in showing this.
Sincerely, Jorge M.

The trade management approach is a strength of the program, along with the disciplined trading methodology being taught. I found the two unit methodology (i.e. – position trade and scalp trade) particularly helpful.

I want to thank you for the outstanding job You and Avery do for me and all the
other traders in the PMTR. I have been in the room for one and a half years, eight
months full time. It amazes me how difficult trading is. Without your guidance I
don't think I would stand a chance. I have listened to most of your lectures at least
twice and every time I hear them it's like I am listening for the first time.
Tom

Pristine's knowledge of the e-minis and his trading tactics are impressive.
The thorough explanation of the tactics/rules along with real-time trading and
watching the tactics/setups form on the charts was very helpful.

If you like the day trading action, yet find it challenging to do so with
stocks, then e-mini futures trading is for you. Before coming to this mentorship I had never traded the
e-minis, yet in just a few days I felt totally comfortable and pretty sure this was a trading instrument for me.
Thank you for sharing with us your experience and knowledge and your crystal clear tactics on how and
when to trade the e-minis. Looking forward to putting all that know-how into practice and profitability!
Sylviane D. V.

methodology, this is the course to take.

I know I thanked you in the room for the mentorship
but I must tell you what you really did. It is
as if you gave me the missing piece of the puzzle
(no matter how small it really is.) It seemed
to have taken everything theoretical I know and
decoded the confusion. Yes, we learned to look
at multiple time frames for patterns and entry
but can you imagine I never thought about going
to a 1 min. or 2 min. chart, how idiotic of me!!!!!
I seem to all of a sudden not to have to be right
all the time, call the bottom or top. Anyway I
do not want to bore you, thank you again;
you are an amazing teacher, trader and above all
an amazing person.
P.S.
I had one of the best weeks of my trading career
this week.
Sincerely, Maher M.

| Mike:
The Pristine counselor spent the past week here providing a mentorship
for me. He did brilliantly, tailoring the information
and teaching to the exact level needed, raising
my trading skills to a very high level. It was
a truly great experience to see a professional
so skilled and dedicated to teaching. I urge any
person interested in trading for a profession
to engage in a mentorship. It is worth the
cost many times over.
Sincerely, Dave W

Andy,
As we finish my first block of Coaching,
I wanted to share with you some of my realizations
since we started working together. Before I start
into what I learned in terms of trading, I must
say that being coached is one of the best things
that have happened to me in years. I’ve told
you this before, but it feels like I get exponentially
more for my time and money than even I did with
the life-altering TPM1
and TPM2
workshops. This is mostly due to the power of individualized
attention for my own particular issues, and this
has put me on a growth curve that I never expected.
This is a wonderful thing, and I definitely want
to continue.
When
I first asked to you coach me, I could see that
trading was more difficult than I had originally
expected, and that there was a lot to learn. There
were so many subjects that could engulf hours,
evenings, or entire weekends, that I wanted a
structure to the process so that I would be on
the best track possible. I could only afford a
certain window of time to become consistently
profitable, and it was obvious to me after struggling
for several months that having the guidance of
a “master trader” would shorten this
critical developmental period and by teaching
healthy habits early on, be the difference between
my ultimate success or failure.
After
ten weeks, I have grown so far from the trader
that I used to be, that it is actually a bit staggering
to look back. We created a trading plan, which
is expanding with new realizations and corresponding
tactics. We’ve worked on the fundamental
routines and habits, and these together with the
trading plan have helped me change from a reactionary
market participant to a trader who approaches
the day centered and ready to respond effectively
to market events. I have a thorough pre-market
plan that guides me to appropriate strategies
early in the day, rather than while or after they
happen. This is a huge difference from the trader
I was just a few short months ago. I can now calmly
wait for high probability trades to setup, and
determine if they are right for me, given the
current market environment, and my specific money
management rules.
Occasionally
it has been frustrating to see the high-risk pattern
that I used to mess with go for a triple or homerun.
There have been times that I needed to walk away
to remember that I was being reprogrammed away
from destructive, even addictive behavior, and
toward new thinking that would help ensure my
longevity as a trader. This has already led to
the beginnings of what is vastly more important
and satisfying than an occasional big hit, that
of consistently profitable results. A foundation
of proper thinking and healthy habits already
has made a difference, how exciting to think of
where this transformation is leading.

I
want to thank you for all your teaching and guidance.
Thank you so much for the informative week of
mentorship. Although I still do not see a lot
of what you see, I think I learned to make some
of the interpretations that you do. I am committed
to gaining the ability to see a lot of what you
do. I think the mentorship was one of the most
valuable experiences I have had yet in my development
as a trader. It has been a great help to me and
I look forward to building on this foundation
and becoming a really competent and successful
trader in the future.

I
emailed you late in Feb. to thank you for what
you have done for me and others. I just returned
from a mentorship and it was mentioned this
whole mentorship idea was kind of your baby and
others questioned your idea. Oh, how wrong they
were. It literally would have taken me years,
if ever to figure out what I learned this week.
I'm a student of NLP and Tony Robbins, who espouses
modeling successful behavior. You have handed
me the tools to succeed in a massive way, on a
silver platter. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

I
appreciate the time you took to during your class
to meet with me. It was VERY enlightening. During
my visit, you asked me what I thought was wrong
with my trading, and I wasn't able to answer you
at the time, but it was obvious by the time I
left: I can't manage my trades like you guys can..my
stops are all in the wrong spot..my timing is
too slow...my trading tools are inadequate...I
think too much and don't react. Wonderful what
an hour can do, huh?
You
guys can drive a ferrari, whereas I'm still trying
to get out of first gear. I plan to take the 2-week
Trading Lab early next year to get the
education I need. In the meantime, I signed up
for Pristine
bronze, which is really my speed. I have
no business trying to trade intraday at the moment.
I can't thank you enough for letting me visit
your class and speak to your students. It was
invaluable. I have confidence to reach my goals
now, since you gave me perspective on what was
missing. If you get a chance, pass on my thanks
to them too.

| Aron
did an excellent job in monitoring my progress
and making sure I had an understanding of all
concepts covered. He did a great job of referring
back to the "trading list" of things
to do when entering (before and during) a trade.
I should be able to limit many of the bad habits
I'd picked up over the past two months. Overall
the mentorship was excellent.

just finished up a week of mentorship in Irvine. This really helped me to put everything

You've got a super company and super staff!

| It
was excellent, truly a great way to gain in one
week, the knowledge that a lot of trading (losses)
would provide. Aron has a wonderful grasp of the
whole market and trading domain. He was outstanding
in his grasp of the big picture. My feel for balancing
the market conditions to my trading plan is up
from zero to very good. I wish I had one
more week spend with Aron doing real trades!

I
wanted to apologize if I sound over enthusiastic
in the Pristine
Method Trading Room since returning from
the Mentorship, but the fact is that my trading
has changed for the better beyond recognition.
I just feel that the other people in the room
would benefit immensely if they understood how
important it is for them to get a structured education
from a good teacher(s) if they are serious about
trading.
I
have made significant money after my return by
trading according to the Plan's share sizes and
managing the trades properly - not simply by luck
and wildly buying as many shares as I could in
hope as I used to do before. I was never able
to take 2 to 3 points from an intraday trade before.
I
am looking forward to a few difficult market days
so that I can test my trading poise when the going
gets tough. I feel I have the tools and confidence
to handle it now. I truly feel that I am now on
the way to fulfilling my fondest wish which is
to make trading work long term. Thank you sincerely
for your invaluable help in making me believe
this.

| The
class was very informative. Overall the experience
was extremely productive. Aron was very good at
teaching us the Pristine Method. He got the points
across very clearly, especially the important
points. I would recommend Aron as a mentor, especially
if you are starting out as a full time trader.
It will help you move to the next level.
Chris T
|
| Aron
is very knowledgeable of the subject matter, but
his trading skills and poise are extremely helpful
for his tutorees. The opportunity to share time
with a trader provides you with so much additional
knowledge. Hands-on can rarely be surpassed by
text book learning. The saying "a picture
is worth a thousand words," applies to this
past week with Aron.

It
did not take me long after returning home to realize
the truth of your statement that trading is 85%
psychological. Had you not taught us how to surgically
dissect each trade using Sharpe ratios, post-trade
chart evaluation et al, I doubt I would have recognized
why some trades were good and others weren't.
Looking over your shoulder to see what you saw
each time you evaluated a potential play was a
great way for me to see how technical analysis
is applied real time. However, what I learned,
with a good deal of dismay, was how undisciplined
my trading has been. What a great road map you
gave us! My trading plan is well fleshed out,
I'm tracking and analyzing each trade and am up
$2K after only two days of trading this week.
What's most satisfying about that is I no longer
need a bull market to convince me I have brains.
(In future, whenever I hear anyone say that, I
will remember you said it first!)
You are very good at what you do, both in the
Mentorship
Program and as moderator of the
Pristine
Method Trading Room. Your extreme dedication
still boggles me. (I still can't believe you post
the Watch List around 1:00am each day.) However,
I'll simply enjoy the benefits and leave you to
decide why :)
Warm
regards, Pamela P

| We
walked away with a much greater understanding
of the Pristine System as well as what to, and
not to, focus on. Good confirmation of what we've
been doing and the direction we are going. He
tied up the loose ends and gaps in our style and
gave us a "blueprint" to become Master
Traders - Excellent! Aron is great.
Kevin
|
| Aron's
ability to convey the technical analysis in 3-D
vs.one dimensionally, has really brought the market
"to life". I feel I have a much better
sense of "timing" a trade with other
dynamics within the market. Aron had a strong
command of the material as well as the
presentation of it - He also asked strong
questions to make sure we took the most
out of the experience.

I
wanted to let you know how I have done since Miami
and what I am going to do next. After I got back
from your April 30th Mentorship I opened a brokerage
margin account for $43,000. I traded for 10 weeks
5/8 - 7/16. During this period I made 33 trades
(buy and sell). My purchase cost was $1,116,681
and my sold value was $1,145,583. This gave me
a gain of $28,903 ($2890/week). There were no
big gains or losses. It was surprisingly consistent
throughout the 10 week period.
I started with Pristine's 1-day seminar in May,
1999 in Chicago. I then attended the 3-day seminar
in Jan, 2000. I followed Pristine's advice and picked
out strategies that I was comfortable working
with and that worked for me. I also took his advice
and studied them and paper traded these strategies.
I kept good records and was able to learn from
my mistakes instead of getting hurt by them -
and I would have been hurt a lot. I was feeling
pretty confident about my ability when the Mentorship
program came along. It was a chance to see if
I was really ready to trade. I was not.
I
had the tools, and knowledge but no experience.
But I sure got a lot of great experience through
your Mentorship Program. Because of all the prep
work I had done since May, 1999 I was able to
grasp what you were explaining. I understood what
you were trying to accomplish and that filled
me with confidence. During your program the light
came on. While I knew what to do - you showed
me how and when to do it. I want to express my
sincere gratitude for
giving me a chance for a better life.

| I enjoyed last week's Pristine Evening Mentorship
class. Sam and Craig did a great job presenting
the Pristine trading principles and it was thoroughly
enjoyable sharing my experiences with the others
in the class and benefiting from their experiences
as well. I am very thankful for the opportunity
to have attended. Already I can see a difference
in myself, in terms of how I'm approaching the
market- not being afraid of it, but instead trying
to play with it, rather than against it. There's
clearly no winning when you try to beat the market,
that's for sure. But in watching the major indexes
and making proper use of moving averages and other
corroborating criteria, I feel I have really matured
in the way I am approaching things.
Sincerely,
Richard H |

I
just wanted to take a second and thank you just
one more time! It truly was a pleasure to be able
to see you perform tasks that two weeks ago seemed
liked an impossibility. The timing could not have
been better, as I was at the point where I was
doubting a lot (including even being able to trade
an account of my size profitably). You have been
the one that has filled in so many missing pieces
of the proverbial trading puzzle.
Your
skills are remarkable, and I can only hope to
aspire to your level of trading sometime in the
future. Up until this point in my life, I have
never had someone that I would refer to as a "mentor";
now, I think I fully understand what it is to
have one.
Again,
please let me convey my thanks and appreciations.
I'd like to say that will be the last time you
will have to hear that from me, but I can't in
all honesty make that statement to you!
Please
keep up the great work! I truly hope to see you
again soon.
Regards,

I
wanted to take a moment to thank you for your
time and effort you put forth last week. I went
with the expectation of taking from your teaching
what I would need to become a successful trader,
but what I learned and saw far surpassed what
I had ever thought possible.
Each
day had its own revelations, but Monday will go
down as one of the most memorable days. At the
Pristine seminar, Pristine presented us the required
tools and techniques for successful trading. In
the Pristine
Method Trading Room I heard these tools
and techniques implemented in trading. Now on
Monday, I was SEEING for the first time the awe
inspiring execution of those techniques.
What
you taught me personally through your teachings
and what you showed me through your trading was
that day trading holds its own set of rules for
proper executions. But what I carry to that computer
will make the difference between success or failure.
My
future in day trading at this time is uncertain,
but having heard you and seen you in action I
now feel prepared to face the information the
market presents with a neutral bias and process
the information with a confidence that will allow
me also to trade in the "Zone." Thank
you again. You are truly a Master Trader and Mentor.
